1 in 11 people don’t have safe water to drink or wash with and #letsbefrank that is not okay. I like to think I’m a ‘take action’ kind of guy, so in true frank fashion I have come up with an idea that’s a little bit different. As usual it involves showers, you babes, and getting dirty.
#getdirtyforcleanwater. You heard me. I’m giving you an even better reason to get dirty with me.
For the next month, I’ll be sending out a pink shower cap with every order.
Step 1: Put this shower cap on your head. (You’ll look cute trust me.)
Step 2: Get dirty with me.
Step 3: Take a photo, upload it to Instagram/Twitter and tag @frank_bod #getdirtyforcleanwater.
For every photo uploaded I’ll donate $1 to charity: water. My aim is to raise $10,000 which is enough to bring clean water to a whole community.
You know lots about me, but if you don’t know much about charity: water, I’ll tell you. charity: water is a nonprofit on a mission to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries.
The essence; water changes everything. #letsbefrank, I couldn’t agree more.
People go from having limited access to dirty, unsafe water to having unlimited access to clean, safe water. Not only do they have clean water to drink, they can also wash (and even scrub if they want).
They immediately start getting healthier and happier. The kids in the community spend more time in school, the women can go back to work and earn money to support their family.
The cycle is broken and their future is re-written.
With your help we can change a whole community. You don’t have to do a lot I just need you all to do something little. You have two options.
