I trained in stockbroking when I was 16 for 2 years.

We spent the day together in London’s iconic restaurant, Sketch. We had coffee, both in a cup and a tub. My new body cream tub, that is. She sung for me, and I scrubbed for her. #letsbefrank

What’s the first thing you think of when you wake up?

Going back to sleep.

Then, what’s the first thing you do?

Eventually get up and raid the cupboards for something unhealthy. 😉

When you were growing up, what did you want to be?

A stunt woman.

What do people say now when you say you’re a model?

I wouldn’t say I am a model, it’s more something I do for fun as I’m so teeny. But people congratulate me on the work I’ve done which is really nice.

You love to sing and dance. Where did this come from?

From a really young age, I’ve been brought up in a really creative environment. Watching my dad DJ and my mum constantly sing along to Whitney Houston songs around the house rubbed off on me I guess. And as for dancing, that came pretty naturally and so I just carried on pursuing it as I grew up.

How do you find suitable people to collaborate with?

I make sure I do my research on them and figure out how professional they are. I also look for what makes them different and unique as a dancer. I’m surrounded by creative people so I can always ask their opinion, too.

Dream person you’d love to work with?

Syd, the kid from the band ‘The internet’. Her voice is insane and I really love how she writes her music.

You studied beauty. What did you love about this?

I think the thing I loved the most was being able to make people feel good about themselves after a treatment. It was and still is really rewarding.

And the biggest thing you learnt?

Just because something smells good, doesn’t mean it’s edible.

What’s the one thing girls shouldn’t do when it comes to makeup?

There’s really no do’s & don’ts in my opinion… but if I had to pick something, I would say don’t use unclean brushes. Think of the germs.

Knowing the beauty industry so well, what do you look for in a product?

Quality ingredients that are kind to the skin (and the animals).

And what do you strongly avoid?

Testing on animals.

How do you keep your curly locks so well maintained?

Deva Curl products and a hair cut from the incredible Shai Amiel – the curl doctor. If I could go to him more often, I would. He’s currently located in LA.

Three things people wouldn’t know about you?

  1. I trained in stockbroking when I was 16 for 2 years.
  2. I have a phobia of octopuses.
  3. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

If you were a scrub, what flavour would you be?

I would be coconut. YUM!

And lastly, who should I put on my to scrub/dirty talk list?

My beautiful friend, Kirby Akindeinde. Aside from being gorgeous, she’s an amazing blogger and one of the kindest souls I know. You will fall in love with her.

xx frank
