#letsbefrank, not all ingredients make sense. Here’s a breakdown of mine.
My Original Coffee Scrub goes a little like this:
Expect: Coffee, vegan friends, waterproof bag, flirting, no pants.
Arrives with:
Coffee, Sweet Almond Oil, water, salt, brown sugar, vitamin E, Soybean oil, cinnamon.
Leaves you: smooth, soft, hydrated, without flaky skin, dry bits and removes nasties like; redness and acne, oh and boredom.
Leaves out:
chemicals, nasties, parabens, pegs, carcinogens, animal testing, things that look like: G5%fs-oxide?
100% naturally derived: aka, I access properties of a natural raw
material like the oil from a coconut and use it to make things, without the labs.
5% serious: Bc sometimes ‘we need to talk’
0% bullshit:
For more indulgent reading, turn to my Cacao Coffee Scrub:
Coffea Robusta Seed Powder: Aka Coffee.what you drink
Aqua: Known on the streets as ‘water.’ What you should drink
Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil: Sweet almond oil. A little nutty, a lot of goodness.
Sodium Chloride: Salt. Hold the chips.
Sucrose: Brown Sugar. To keep things sweet.
Juglans Regia Shell Powder: Walnut Powder. The good stuff taken from a hard one
Fragrance: Smells good.
Theobroma Cacao Fruit Powder: Cacao. From a tree, not a packet.
Theobroma Cacao Extract Glycerin: Cacao extract that’s existed since BC 4000 years ago
Tocopherol: Vitamin E.
Glycine Soja Oil: Soybean oil. Like tofu, but not
Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil: Macadamia Oil, for the hard core scrub lovers
Benzyl Alcohol (Cinnamon Derived): Benzyl alcohol is actually a natural ingredient. Many plants, fruits, and teas have it as a component, as do essential oils like jasmine, hyacinth, and ylang-ylang.
