Busy babes, I’ve burnt your list and wiped your iCal.

In between study, work, going out, exercise, dating, brushing your unicorn and saving the world, there are not enough hours for a babe to get some time to herself. That’s why I’m always so humbled when you make time for me. (smiley face).

#letsbefrank, busy babes love being busy – and writing lists. But there comes a time when you need to slow down and smell the coffee scrub roses. Consider me your cyber secretary.

Allow me to open my briefcase and unveil today’s schedule:

7:00am

I’ve set your alarm a little earlier babe. While I do love the dramatic and frantic morning ritual, I’m here to turn that sprint into a saunter. Adjust your alarm so it softly wakes you and you can roll out of bed at a leisurely pace. Wrap yourself up in a pink robe (obviously) and make yourself a hot lemon water to kick-start your digestion for the day. Sit somewhere quietly and let yourself take in the scenery. I call this: babe-time.

7:30am

Ignore your floor-drobe and head straight to the real… wardrobe. Although it goes against my wishes, put clothes on. Pick your favourite outfit of choice. Don’t think about what’s appropriate, think about what makes you feel good. Because if a babe looks good, she feels good. Which #letsbefrank, is every day of the week (winky face).

7:45am

Make your way to the kitchen. What you eat for breakfast and how quickly you eat will set you up for the day. Munch on something that’s low in fat but rich in protein and complex carbohydrates such as whole grains, vegetables and nuts. Try oatmeal topped with bananas or a poached egg on wholegrain toast with a side of spinach to help boost the happy vibes in your body.

8:30am

Just like putting clothes on, brushing your hair is low on my list of priorities. But some people believe brushing your hair can help calm your entire body. Remember those head massages that look like spiders? Similar thing, babe.

10am

Spread the love. Text a fellow babe to tell them how much you love them. Studies have found that supporting others can make you a happier babe.

11:30am

Cue that cat video. Some people say that laughter increases immunity and antibodies to fight infection. It also triggers endorphins that make you feel good. If cats don’t cut it, I’m sure the Running Man dance will.

12:30

Do not eat lunch in front of a screen. Take your lunch box outside and savour each mouthful. Not only will it give you some Vitamin D, it will also revitalise your mind for the afternoon ahead. If you can, have lunch with a friend or co-worker. Maybe someone you don’t usually talk to.

3:30pm

Ah, the afternoon crash. Skip the snickers and focus on something just as sweet – like Ryan Gosling. Use this time for a little creative visualisation (a.k.a. daydreaming). You know the ones where you imagine your Rachel McAdams in that dramatic rain scene? These happy daydreams can give your heart and head a little mood boost. That’s why I think of you most of the time, babe.

6pm

Exercise. Unfortunately my bathercise video isn’t out just yet, so you’ll have to do this on your own. Get the blood pumping for 30 minutes or more and this in turn will pump up your endorphins. Those are the things that make a babe feel fine. Once you’re done, let’s give those muscles some love with my Peppermint Coffee Scrub, made for active babes.

7pm

Let’s dine babe. Just like breakfast, what you eat at dinner can regulate your stress levels. Some people say foods such as fish, brown rice, lamb, kale and legumes may help reduce depression and anxiety. Chocolate is also a mood booster, thanks to a key ingredient called cacao. That’s why I created my Cacao Coffee Scrub. You can read more about the benefits of chocolate here.

9pm

It’s around this time when a babe needs to switch off. Literally. Set a technology curfew around two hours before bed. Put the phone away and any other screens that may be lurking. Studies have found that the blue light in screens can make it harder for people to fall asleep and some can even experience shorter sleep because of it. So pick up something tactile like a book or a paper coffee scrub packet, like me to spend time with.

10:40pm

Peel back the sheets and dive on in. Now, let’s focus on breathing. Slow, deep breaths can help lower a babe’s blood pressure and heart rate. My tip? Pranayama breathing. This is when you breathe through one nostril at a time. It calms your mind and helps a babe relax. Just what you need before bed. But beware of blocked noses.

If all else fails… scrub.

My personal study of 689,000 frankfurts has found that babes feel better when they spend time with me. Covering your bathroom in coffee guarantees a good laugh. Plus, my coffee body scrubs are made from natural ingredients to give you naturally soft, supple skin.

So did I get the job?

Tell me on social.
