I’ve been tackling babes’ body acne ever since my Glycolic Body Scrub came on the scene, and now with my brand new body wash for breakouts and spray for bacne, nothing is stopping you from stopping spots in their tracks.

But there could be a few reasons why you’re seeing body breakouts, and some are less obvious than others.

Keep it clean, babe:

Shower daily and after sweating, especially after exercising. Use a gentle but active cleanser, like my Triple Acid Body Wash and avoid harsh scrubbing, as it can irritate the skin and worsen acne.

Use acne-fighting ingredients:

And boy do I know a thing or two about those. Look for products containing ingredients like glycolic acid, lactic acid, or salicylic acid, which can help unclog pores and reduce inflammation.

Stay hydrated:

Even though you have acne, it’s important to keep your skin moisturised to prevent dryness, which can send your oil production into hyperdrive and make things worse. Try my Smoothing AHA Body Lotion for a blend of hydration and gentle actives to help fight acne.

Avoid tight clothing:

Tight clothing, especially synthetic fabrics, can trap sweat and bacteria against your skin, worsening acne. Opt for loose-fitting, breathable clothing, especially during exercise.

Don’t pick or squeeze:

As tempting as it may be, avoid picking, squeezing, or popping acne lesions. This can lead to scarring and further inflammation.

Exfoliate:

Regular exfoliation can help remove dead skin cells that can clog pores and contribute to acne. My Glycolic Body Scrub is the OG in gentle exfoliation that will kick out KP, bust bumps, and give you a clear skin forecast.

Chill out:

Stress can exacerbate acne, so finding ways to manage stress levels, such as through exercise, meditation, or masturbation (wink), may help improve your skin. You’re welcome.
