You know what I keep hearing, time after time again? You want to be fitter, stronger, and leaner.

Well, babe towns. I’m here to tell you that your wish is my command.

As I’m a simple guy, I’ve found you the simplest exercise to get you started.

And an inspirational babe to teach you how. I’m sure you’ve heard of her already.

Kayla Itsines.

She’s a fan of Plyometric Training. Synonym: Box Jumps. Translation: Bikini booty.

Anywhere. Anytime. Even while you’re waiting for your scrub to dry (would you dare?)

Standing tall, feet hip distance apart, bend your knees into a squat and then push yourself into a jump. Kayla tells me that you need to concentrate on ‘falling into’ the squat as you land.

I know this sounds scary babe. Don’t worry. I’ll catch you.

Just promise me you’ll land softly. If you’re injured we can’t scrub, babe. We don’t want that.

Repeat 10 times.

Jumping too scary? Kayla and I have come up with something else.

Knee ups. Find a chair, or a bench. And raise one knee at time, to step up onto said chair or bench. Lift the other knee high into the air.

No, you won’t look silly. You’ll look athletic. Limber. Fit.

You’ll be engaging different muscles than you would with a regular lunge or step up. Your core is engaged. Your glutes are controlled. Repeat 10 times on each leg.

And the best part? All of this can be done from home. Close to your shower, and me.
