Whether you like the natural look or maybe you’re a make-up pro, the perfect base is one that’s bright, smooth and healthy. So let’s get started: with me, obviously.
Get in the shower with my Original Introduction Bundle – it’s kinda like the perfect first date… only with coffee-based skincare.
If you’re thinking that I might be a little too rough to begin, you can always try my gentle Creamy Face Scrub – specially made for fussy faced babes. This coffee-based face scrub is natural, smells delicious, and leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh.
Ta-Da: your skin is sorted. The base is prepped. Now let’s have some fun; the internet is truly an amazing place. No, that isn’t what I was thinking.
From me to you, I present to you a personal, tight-edit of the 2016 beauty trends:
Glitter Tears: Now tears don’t even have to be sad, because – glitter. Those trendy babes over at Oyster magazine have a great how to for this one (no actual crying required).
Faux Freckles: You either love this idea or think it’s totally lame, either way you know you want to see yourself with freckles (unless you already have freckles in which case congratulations Pippy. I salute you.) Bare faced? Never fear. Here’s a YouTube tutorial to get you looking perfectly speckled from super cute Vlogger: IAMKARENO
Strobing: Okay, so I may be a little late to the party on this one but it’s definitely worth a mention. You’ve probably looked into how to contour, but strobing is contouring’s cooler, more laid back, less scary to look at un-finished, cousin.
Strobing is about minimum effort and maximum return: it’s basically a fancy term for highlighting. It will give your skin a glowy appearance and bring out your best features. This is where my Body Balm comes in. It’s light enough to be applied over cheekbones and the eyelids to give you that dewy, Tinkerbell look. With the help of my pals at Bustle, they have put together a whole heap of tutorials on how to master the art of strobing: here.
And that’s it. Beauty shouldn’t be complicated, just like relationships and your natural skincare routine. If you want to know about getting the perfect base for your bod’s tan, then take a look at what else I’ve been writing: here.
