You can top with some cacao nibs if you’re a little chocolate fiend.

I think I’ve finally figured out what women want.

Chocolate.

That’s why I created my new cacao scrub, because I care about my frankfurts.

Packed with coffee, organic cacao, and natural oils it helps babes achieve smooth, supple skin – but also smells like a cake exploded in your bathroom.

And remember as I’ve told you before –  please don’t eat me. It’s not safe. But you know what is? Recipes full of chocolatey goodness. So I’ve decided to share a few of my favourite cacao recipes with you.

Eat these, not me.

Cacao Nib Pesto

Ok babes, I’m going to be a little crazy here. A savoury dish with cacao nibs. Yep, delicious.

Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup of nibs
  • 3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, plus 2-3 tbsp.
  • 12 olives
  • A few fresh basil leaves.
Method:

Mix the nibs and three tablespoons of olive oil in a food processor until combined. Then add the olives and the basil. Blend again.

Stir through extra olive oil to the consistency you’d like.

Serve it like you would any pesto babes, in pasta, on toast, with a slice of cheese and some prosciutto perhaps?

Breakfast Cacao Smoothie

Wake up, scrub with cacao, and then eat cacao? Sounds like a great plan to me. A delicious, nutritious breakfast for my babes. It’s as good for your insides as I am for your outsides.

Ingredients:
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup of frozen berries
  • ½ cup of coconut milk
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • 1 scoop of protein powder
  • 2tbsp of raw cacao powder
  • 1 handful of ice
Method:

Let’s be frank, it’s pretty easy. Put all the ingredients in the blender. And mix babes, mix.

Raw Chocolate

Ok I get it, sometimes you just want real chocolate, not something posing as chocolate.

This, my frankfurts is the real deal. Inspired by my healthy babe @healing_belle. #frankcrush.

Ingredients:
  • 120 mls of melted coconut oil
  • 60 grams of raw cacao powder
  • 2 ½ tbsp of maple syrup, or raw honey
  • Pinch of sea salt.
Method:

Whisk all the ingredients together until no lumps are present, set in chocolate mounds and freeze for at least 30 minutes.

Extras  – stir through nuts, superfoods, or cacao nibs for a double choc crunch. You can also layer nut butters like almond or brazil nut between two layers of the raw chocolate for something that’s even more mouth watering than a truck load of Reece’s pieces.

Now, go forth and cook. You can thank me later, in the shower babe.

xx frank
