Hello frankfurts, how are we all today? Feeling calm? Zen almost? Skin glowing? Well, if you’re not feeling any of these things, I’ve got something for you. Because that’s just the kind of guy I am.
I’m all about helping you achieve a glowing complexion. But I know you can’t spend all your time in the shower with me, so I thought I’d find some other ways to keep you feeling good and looking babe’n.
And do you know what I found out? Yoga does just that. I now like it for more reasons other than tight pants.
So here goes, three easy yoga poses to get your skin glowing from the inside out.
1. Standing forward fold.
Bend from the hips and try to touch the ground. Simple enough.
By moving your head towards the floor you change the direction of the blood flow, allowing it to rush toward the face and it bringing with it oxygen, and other good things, like rosy cheeks. My favourite.
2. Seated Twist.
Sit on the floor with your left leg out straight in front of you and your right leg bent over the top of your left leg with the right foot placed on the outside of your left knee. Then simply twist to the right hooking your left elbow on the right knee to stretch out your back. Then switch sides.
I can’t do this one, so many limbs I don’t have, but I’ll be there for support.
Twists are great for detoxification and digestive health. Remember to breathe deeply and help those toxins escape.
3. Chair pose.
This one hurts the quads babes, I won’t lie. Bend your knees, feet together and pretend you’re sitting down into a chair. Except there is no chair. Feel the burn, it’s good for the buns.
So, next time before you jump in the shower, practice these three moves, and I’ll reward you with a good scrub. Imagine how good your skin is going to look after that? I might not be able to take it.
