Pre-workout I’m a nut butter and fruit fiend.

I like to work you babes, out. In & out of the shower. Natasha Prasad from ClassPass knows all the right ways how. We discussed her workout routine, and then her shower routine, of course. 

What’s the first thing you think of when you wake up?

What time is it? (I almost always beat my alarm to the punch)

Then, what’s the first thing you do?

Stretch, breathe, check my phone for emails and my schedule.

Coffee or tea?

Coffee (skim cap) in the morning, tea in the afternoon.

Workout in the morning, or evening?

Starting my morning with a beach run or yoga is the dream but working with different time zones means I’m often hopping straight onto a call. I love a good sweaty HIIT class after a long day or winding down with some yin.

I’m a big fan of barre and am currently hooked on Barre Body. Their classes are innovative and fun and so hard! At 7 months pregnant, it’s hard to find options that are pre-natal friendly yet challenging. I feel strong and energised during class and then an hour later, my legs turn to jelly and I just want to collapse into a little puddle: what more could you want?

Do you eat before you train? If so, what?

Always. I’m a nut butter and fruit fiend and I’ll usually snack on a slice of almond toast or a banana (or both) 45 minutes before a workout.

What do you tell yourself if you’re not in the mood for exercising, to get you up and going?

I know exactly how good exercise makes me feel so I channel that feeling and focus on the reward. I’m also a big believer in social workouts – I plan classes and catchups with friends on the weekend and during the week, my super active team can be counted on to get me to class. If I’m really tired, I’m very happy to go for a walk and call it a day. It’s so important to listen to your body.

What does your pre workout skincare routine look like? Do you have one?


And post workout routine?

Cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturise. As fashionable as it is to wear sweaty activewear all day, I need a cool shower and comfy, breathable fabrics post-workout!

It’s an average day, jeans and a top, rather than sweats. What does your beauty routine look like?

Eyeliner, mascara, a dab of lip balm. And sunscreen.
