That analogue photography you dig? Ainsley’s mumma.
And that ‘mumma-style’ that rivals your own? You guessed it: Marcia’s mumma.
A lot of your favourite people – and things – come down to three very special mummas. So I had a little chat with each #frankcrush.
Pip Edwards, Design Director for General Pants & her mumma Gloria.
What did you get from your mumma?
My mumma has been the structure, the tenacity and the energy behind everything that I do. She is the most selfless and supportive mumma on this earth. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. And my son wouldn’t be the amazing well-rounded child that he is, without her. She has passed on all her values, ethics, style, and business nuance to me which is priceless. Everything she does is for me, and so everything I do is for Justice.
What’s one thing you’ll teach your kids, which your mumma taught you?
How to live life. The basic rules. The organisation. The priorities. The independence. The passion. The drive. And to be conscious of others.
One thing that you want to tell your mumma?
That she really doesn’t know how much I love her and how I recognise how much she has shaped me. I’m an only child and the dynamic can be intense and passionate and there can be conflict, but I thrive on that, and respect it with all my heart – all this I never tell her.
Ainsley Hutchence from Sticks & Stones agency & her mumma, Margaret.

My crazy ass ear piercing laugh, general loudness & my height. Actually, since becoming a mum, I am starting to sound like her a lot more.

Be grateful. Be yourself. Be patient.
What’s something your mumma has, that you wish you did?
Large boobies.

Sass and style. My mumma showed me that you can love and embrace motherhood AND still retain a sense of self and style.
